McDONALD – Helen V. McDonald (nee Foote), November 9 1923 January 3 2012 has peacefully passed on to her heavenly reward. Those waiting for her include Ralph J. her husband of 50 years; her mother Magdelena; her father Robert Bruce; sister Jean L. Sheets; brother Robert and nephew Victor Sheets. Helen will be long remembered for her loving ways welcoming smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Left behind to honor and love her memory are the children Ralph and Ruth of Gladwin Virginia Sheets of Perry Kathleen of Grand Rapids and Gregory of Saranac. Also her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren are an important part of her legacy. Private services will be at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Due to her great love of her feline companions Roxie and Blondie and all animals consider a contribution in her name to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals 6955 West KL Avenue Kalamazoo MI 49009.
