James Craig Blok “Big”, of Cascade passed away Monday, November 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents James H. and Phyllis J. Blok. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Jill; children Amy (Caleb) Doezema, Craig (Renuka) Blok, Cheryl (Gordon) Rich, Christopher VanderWall; sister Judy (Ron) Rinehart; brothers Phil Blok, Steve Blok, John (Betsie) Blok; grandchildren Elizabeth and Edward Doezema, Alana and Dillon Blok. Jim graduated from East Grand Rapids High School in 1966. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 29 2:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids. The family will meet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.
