James Orla Martin, age 87 of Ada, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Jane (Mercurio) Martin; parents, James R. & Clara (Shelton) Martin; sisters, Mary Sue (Hutchinson), and Ruth (Urban). Jim is survived by his daughters, Tina (Dan) Spaans, Sheree (Terry) Whittemore, Robin Martin; grandchildren, Kyle Martin, Jordan (Lisa) Spaans, Megan Spaans, Kevin Spaans; great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Natalie, Luke, Meredith; and many nieces and nephews. Jim spent his career as a Tool and Die salesman. He enjoyed playing tennis and basketball. Jim loved boating in the Spring Lake area with his family, and was enthusiastic about car racing, car exhibitions, and cars, particularly Mustangs and had many classic cars over the years. He will be missed by all who knew him. Private family services will be held.
