Janice B. Johns, age 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Siade S. Johns; nine children, Richard (Diana) Johns, Michael (Cheryl) Johns, Patrick (Linette) Johns, Delice (Timothy) Oddy, Maria Connell, Christine Johns, Thomas (Dorothy) Johns, Joseph (Jackie) Johns, David (Anne) Johns; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Helen) Rouse; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Francine Lovell, Jack Rouse and Deltha Ewing. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Breton Manor Nursing Home for the care they gave our mother. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2750 Burton SE, Rev. Godfrey C. Onyekwere, presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd., SE.
