Janice Mae (Exoo) Averill, Burnette, Heiney, age 87 of Lowell, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, John Exoo; mother, Adrianna (Helmink) Exoo; sister, Marie Exoo; husbands, Frank Averill Jr., Bill Burnette, James Heiney; and son, Leslie Averill. She is survived by her children, Susan Brown (Robert Barnes) of Lowell, Bud (Cindy) Averill of Traverse City, Sandra (Barry) Papple of Prescott; brother, Ralph (Jean) Exoo of Olmstead Falls, OH; grandchildren, Christopher (Cindy) Wissman, Scott Averill, Shannon Averill, Patrick Drake, Jeremy Drake, Dustin Averill, Debbie Stinson, nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and very special friends Charles and Charlotte Drake. Jan was the owner of Jan’s Beauty Shop in Ada until the mid 1980’s when she retired to Mesa, AZ with her husband Bill. She will be missed by her family and friends.
