SUMMERFIELD Jeffrey S. Summerfield age 46 of Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly April 18 2011. He is survived by his wife of 4 years Riza; children Chris Cater and Charlie Summerfield; parents George and Ruth (Elston) Summerfield; brothers Mark (Laurie) Summerfield and Tom (Cori) Summerfield; parents-in-law Reynaldo and Cecilia Marasigan; brothers-in-law Luis German (Samantha), Dino Ace (Jackie) Marasigan; also many nieces and nephews. Jeff was a 1983 graduate of Tekonsha High School and received his Associates Degree from Manchester College in Indiana. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps with the Air Force in Operation Desert Storm and worked for Wachter Network Inc. of Lenexa Kansas. Jeff was a fanatic Detroit Tiger fan. Funeral services will be held at Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 2525 Leonard NE Pastor John Delger officiating. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE and 10- at church.
