  1. Jeri was an amazing mom and such a kind lady. We are all blessed to have her in our lives. She will be missed everyday. She is now back in the arms of her beloved husband, Scott together again in heaven. She always had a smile on her face and willing to help anyone who needed it. So happy to be part of your family. We’ll always love you and miss you Jeri. All the Jones Family

  2. Jeri,
    You will be missed by everyone who knew you as you were loved by everyone who knew you. Pat and I and our family have so many amazing memories over the years, like all of us moving from Oak Lawn to Ada, MI to open the Schoolhouse. We watched our families grow together over the years. The Good Lord has blessed all of us in so many ways and one of our greatest blessings was having you and Scott as our friends. You and Scott are loved and will be missed but we know that we will see y’all again someday.
    Scott and Jeri, together again for eternity,

  3. Clint, Clay, Courtney,
    Will always remember your loving mom. Have great memories of your high school days and attending football games with your parents . What a great family!
    Hoping your wonderful memories of your mom give you strength during this most difficult time and it makes us smile to know she is with her, “Scottie”.

  4. To the Trapp children and their families,

  6. Faith assures me Jeri is now with Scott for all of eternity.
    Fortunate are they!
    Yet, I was lucky, too, to have known Jeri since kindergarten and Scott as a friend and teammate since grade school.
    Thanks for the great memories.

  7. Jeri was a class person in high school. I did not know her very well, but she was always happy and very kind. I knew Scott from both St Gerald as well as high school. I am so sorry to hear of her passing at such a young age. Both she and Scott will be remembered in my prayers.

  8. A prayer for the departed:
    O Lord, O Thou Whose mercy hath encompassed all, Whose forgiveness is transcendent, Whose bounty is sublime, Whose pardon and generosity are all-embracing, and the lights of Whose forgiveness are diffused throughout the world! O Lord of glory! I entreat Thee, fervently and tearfully, to cast upon Thy handmaiden who hath ascended unto Thee the glances of the eye of Thy mercy. Robe her in the mantle of Thy grace, bright with the ornaments of the celestial Paradise, and, sheltering her beneath the tree of Thy oneness, illumine her face with the lights of Thy mercy and compassion.

    Bestow upon Thy heavenly handmaiden, O God, the holy fragrances born of the spirit of Thy forgiveness. Cause her to dwell in a blissful abode, heal her griefs with the balm of Thy reunion, and, in accordance with Thy will, grant her admission to Thy holy Paradise. Let the angels of Thy loving-kindness descend successively upon her, and shelter her beneath Thy blessed Tree. Thou art, verily, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous, the All-Bountiful. Abdul-Baha
    From Bahai Writings.

  13. I heard about Jeris passing this morning. I am so sorry for the children, but you were blessed with wonderful parents. She was a wonderful partner for Scott, and also a great daughter for her mother at the end. She and Scott could always find humor in every situation.

  14. Prayers to the Trapp family. Scott and Jeri were good friends when we all lived in Ada.

  16. For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
    14
    I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
    15
    My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
    16
    Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
    17
    How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!

    For Jeri: I was so fortunate to experience your friendship at OLCHS. God bless the Trapp Family
