Jerry Michael Comp, age 77 of Saranac, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. He is loved by his wife of 47 years, Jane; children Becky (Aaron) Venema, Josh (Sarah) Comp; brother David (Pat) Comp; grandchildren Madison, Malcolm, Kamie; special friend Kenny Akers; his poker buddies; tons of friends; and his Min Pin, Ace. Celebration of Life will be Sunday, January 13, from 2-5:00 p.m. at the Lowell Moose Lodge, 1320 E. Main St., Lowell, MI 49331. Dear Jane, I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers as you find your way to a new normal in life. Super was like an uncle and a merciless tease. His presence will be missed.
He will be missed. Many fond memories of playing cards with the mayor of Saranac{ thats what I called him]. He would answer on my way home to roll the streets up.
