STEINBERG Jerry Ray Steinberg of Cascade passed away peacefully at home on March 15 2011. Jerry was born June 13 1942 the son of Ralph and Mary (Piette) Steinberg in Traverse City Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jerry Arthur Steinberg and granddaughter Jennifer Sky Mitchell. He will always be in the hearts and memories of his wife of 40 years Leora (Gilland) Steinberg; his children Shelly Mitchell Scott Steinberg and Shanna Steinberg; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Stanley (Jan) Steinberg Robert (Darlene) Steinberg Ralph Steinberg; sisters Nancy Flees Trudy Woodcox; many nieces and nephews. He moved to Grand Rapids and began his career as a journeyman millwright. Jerry loved camping fishing boating and spending time with his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be Saturday at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE Pastor Jill Forton of Cascade Christian Church officiating. Interment Cascade Cemetery.
