FABER – Joan Faber age 71 of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord February 11 2009. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Fred Faber; children Kathleen (Keith) Barth Michael (Mary) Faber David (Sarah) Faber Christine (Christopher) Alfaro all of Grand Rapids; grandchildren Kaitlin Kieran Karianna Keegan Konnor and Kelsey Barth; Hannah Nicholas Moriah Michaela Clare and Burke Faber; Katherine Elizabeth Anna Rebecca and Regina Faber; Michael Andrea Seth Ethan Caleb Mary-Kate and Peter Alfaro; brother Donald (Mary) Heilig; sister-in-law Patricia (Fred) Streng; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. SE Rev. James A. Chelich presiding. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Vigil service at 8:00 PM.
