John Alexander Hickman “Jack”, age 97, caring father, grandfather and great grandfather died peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, and is now with his wife of 65 years, Maxine. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Hickman; loving wife Maxine and daughter Diane. Jack is survived by his son John; grandchildren Sean (Kate), Robert (Meghan) Valentin, Reid, Kristin (Chris) Duguid, Erin; and great grandchild Cole. Jack was a veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific aboard the Intrepid aircraft carrier. He loved playing Bridge and Bingo with his friends at Heather Hills. A private graveside service will be held Monday, July 17 in Flint, Michigan. Contributions in Jack’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
