John Moser, age 82, passed away May 12, 2014 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born August 5th, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to William John Moser and (Thelma) Lucille Holmes Moser. On October 19th, 1951 in Maumee, Ohio he married his sweetheart, Velma King, whom he met while in the Air Force during the Korean War. They raised 5 children and spent 62 years together. John worked in several professions and retired from Melling Tool Company in Jackson in 1994. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully wherever they lived. He was outgoing, enjoyed making friends, and helping others. He will be missed by family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, his four daughters; Debi (John) Suche of Culpepper, VA, Dorothy Moser of Salt Lake City, UT, Susan (Michael) Robinaugh of Grand Rapids, MI, LeOra (Bill) Clements of Houston, TX, daughter-in-law Beth Moser of Eaton Rapids, MI, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grand children, his brother Dick (Lindie) Moser of Portland, OR and his sister Marilyn Walker of TX. He is preceded in death by his son, John Everett Moser and both parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 2780 Leonard NE, Grand Rapids. A viewing will take place 9:30-10:30 at the church before the service. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 at the Clarence Center Cemetery, 27 ½ Mile Road, Clarence, MI.
