O’BRIEN – John R. O’Brien aged 75 of Grand Rapids died March 18 2008. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Craig Eisen. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Barbara (Biedron) O’Brien; children Ruth Eisen John R. O’Brien Jr., Joseph O’Brien and Timothy O’Brien; grandchildren Erin Eisen Melissa O’Brien and Travis Eisen. John served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict on the USS Pawcatuck and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1500. Funeral Services will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 2230 Lake Michigan Dr. NW Rev. John F. Vallier officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
