HENDRICKS Joshua Aaron Hendricks age 30 of Grand Rapids ended his journey on earth on February 21 2009 after a courageous five year fight against brain cancer. Joshua is survived by his loving wife Marni (married October 15 2005; the best day of Joshua and Marnis lives), and his sons Gabriel Michael (2) and Jacob Robert (1). The son of Robert and Mary Elizabeth Hendricks Joshua was born in Grand Rapids Michigan on January 27 1979. He was employed as marketing associate with Sysco Corporation was a member of Gildas Club and attended St. Isidore Catholic Church. He was a loyal friend of Bill W. for six years. Joshua was a loving husband and father and was happiest spending time with his family and helping others. He enjoyed mountain biking and skiing and was known for his wonderful cooking. He will forever be remembered for his strength and positive attitude and would want those who loved him to remember that life is working out just right. In addition to his family at home and his parents Joshua is survived by his sisters Elizabeth (Nathaniel) Lloyd (nieces Isabel and Sophia) and Adrian Hendricks of Grand Rapids; his mother-in-law Carolyn Rembusch; his brothers-in-law Josh and Peter Rembusch of Indianapolis; grandparents Ruth Richardson and Allen (Karen) Hendricks of California. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 AM February 25 2009 at St. Isidore Catholic Church 628 Diamond NE Rev. Donald E. Lomasiewicz presiding. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Rosary will be recited February 24 2009 at 7:30 PM. Visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd SE.
