Joyce Marie Miller, age 86 of Grand Rapids, passed away on her wedding Anniversary, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the home of her daughter. She is preceded in death by her soulmate William J. Miller, as well as her parents Agnus and Wilson Best. Joyce was an energetic, loving mother that devoted her entire life to her family. She enjoyed playing tennis, walking her dog, working in her yard, and hanging out with her family. Joyce had a life full of travel, volunteering, loving her animals and watching her grandchildren grow. Joyce is survived by her children Janmarie (Joe) Rossi, Jeffrey (Michelle) Miller, James Miller, Joseph (Christine) Miller; brother Wilson (Mary Jane) Best; sister Kay Best; grandchildren Jamie (Brian) Kosmerik, Christopher Miller, Bianca (Mike) Gaudagnoli, Zack Miller, James Rossi, Michael (Kaitlin) Rossi, Ian Miller, Melanie Rossi, Hadley Miller, Jack Miller; and great grandchildren Ethan and Nolan Kosmerik, Cashes Miller, Brody and Ella Gaudagnoli. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2750 Burton St. S.E., Grand Rapids. Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider presiding. The family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
