June Lorraine Perschbacher, age 90, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edward; her children, Sandra (David) Stein, Douglas (Felecia Niebojeski), David (Danuta), Scott (Joanne) and Jeffrey (Marly) Perschbacher; her brother, Eugene (Patricia) Sanford, brother-in-law, Robert (Donna) Perschbacher; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth, Mary, & Dolores Sanford and Myrtice Perschbacher; also 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Louisa Sanford; her brothers, Robert, Wayne, & Ronald Sanford, her brothers and sister-in-law, William & Wesley (Selma) Perschbacher. June graduated from Lee High School in 1947, was employed by Globe Knitting Co. as an IBM Key Punch operator, stayed at home for approximately 20 years caring for her children, and later returned to work in customer service at Jacobson’s. A private family service will be held Friday, May 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm, with services being live streamed on Roth-Gerst Facebook page for family and friends. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lowell YMCA, 1335 W Main St, Lowell, MI 49331.
