Otis, Kaden Elijah, age 21, of Caledonia, passed away February 27, 2021.

Kaden always loved nature and being outdoors, from catching frogs as a child to hiking with his dad every year in the U.P. at locations such as Isle Royale, the Porcupine Mountains, and more. He was a fantastic cook and a talented skateboarder.  He spent hours practicing skateboarding in the driveway and at the skatepark with friends. His smile, laugh, and kind heart will be lovingly remembered and missed by those who were blessed to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur H. “Rocky” Otis III, and cousin, Michael Reynolds. Kaden will be greatly missed by his parents, Arthur H. “Beau” IV and Sarah Otis, and Amy Burchfield. Sisters, Lindsay Otis, Autumn Buchanan, and Lily DuBois, brother, David A. Doyle, grandparents, Linda Otis, Bob Burchfield and Cindy Burchfield, Mary Angelo and Eric Thorne, nephew, Colson Woltjer, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

There will be no visitation or funeral service, however a celebration of life will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, donations can be made to the Greenridge Dream Team Foundation, an affiliate of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Greenridge Realty ATTN: Jeanenne Morton, 3115 Orchard Vista Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
