Karen E. Holmes Floyd, born January 7, 1940, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014. She is survived by her husband Laurence Floyd; children, Laurie (John) Nelesen, Penny Ballard, Connie (Chris) LaVigne, Elizabeth (Donald) Misiewicz, William (Kris) Holmes, Jr., David (Jennifer) Holmes; brothers, Don and Bob Simpson; 16 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road S.E., Grand Rapids. Visitation Tuesday 3-6:00 p.m. at the chapel.
