Leanne McGann, age 54 of Comstock Park, on Thursday, May 26, 2016 was freed from her earthly body and has gone to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Diephouse. She is survived by her husband of 31 years Patrick; children, Breanna (Cameron) Recknagel, Christopher McGann; father, Alvin Diephouse; siblings, Linda (Don) Price, Bruce (Rika) Diephouse, David (Penny) Diephouse, Barbara (Jim) Feenstra, Thomas Diephouse, Marjorie (Dale Applegate) Diephouse, Mark Diephouse; brother-in-law, Mark (Jonelle) McGann; sisters-in-law, Deborah McGann, Donna Sheteron, Terri (Al) Hagen; also many nieces and nephews. Leanne’s voracious appetite for life and adventure inspired us all. Her kind spirit knew no bounds and many were touched by her generosity. She lived deep and wide and well. We mourn her loss and take great joy in her freedom. Memorial service will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m. at Central Christian Church, 2525 Leonard St. N.E., Grand Rapids. Pastor Dane Bjork officiating. The family will meet with friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.
