GREENWOOD Leonard K. Greenwood age 93 of Grand Rapids passed away January 23 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine in 1989; his parents Frank and Cora Greenwood; sister Rita Inman. Surviving are his children Karen (Dr. James) Russell of East Wenachee WA Leonard Jr. (Jackie) Greenwood of Greenville MI and Candace (Dennis) McMullen of Lansing MI; grandchildren Lynne Russell Keith Russell Pamela Berjerano Tina Schult Leonard Greenwood III Jamie Vega Jill McMullen and Brian McMullen; 7 great grandchildren; also nieces. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. January 28 2009 at Ada Congregational Church 6330 Ada Dr. with Rev. Gary Burdick officiating. Entombment at Graceland Mausoleum. Mr. Greenwood served as an officer in the US Navy during WWII. He was a Founder former President and Chairman of the Board of Stephenson & Lawyer of Grand Rapids. Mr. Greenwood was an active member of Ada Congregational Church for many years. He was an artist musician and loved his animals. Memorial contributions may be made to Clark Retirement Community Benevolent Foundation Paws With A Cause or Spectrum Hospice.
