OBERHOLTZER Leroy C. Oberholtzer age 88 of Ada dignified and gracious to the end went to join his wife Carrie Snaidman Oberholtzer on February 4 2011. He was born November 29 1922 in Winona New Jersey. He is survived by daughters June Oberholtzer of Iowa Ruth Oberholtzer of Florida and Gail Sutton of Ada MI; grandsons Andrew and Jacob Sutton; sister and brother-in-law Emma (Walter) Dalsimer of Indiana; many nieces and nephews. Leroy was a veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific. He received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from M.I.T. and was employed by Philco where he was personally responsible for designing foam insulated refrigerators. Leroy went on to work on the design of the GPS System used in the space program with Rockwell International. Leroy lived his life to the fullest and was an inspiration to everyone he knew. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church Rev. Rick Raum officiating.
