Linda K. Thiel, Age 67, of Grand Rapids, MI was raised into Heaven on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband John Thiel, her mother Betty Brooks, her daughter Kimberly Thiel, and her father Wayne Brooks. She is survived by her son Joe (Lindsey) Thiel of Grand Rapids Township, her sister Denise (Jim) Meier of Cascade Township, nieces Jennephyr (Jared Lazaro) Meier, Rebecca (Matt) Davidson, and Kirsten (Anthony) Mojica, numerous cousins, and many close friends. Linda will be remembered for her fun loving, outgoing, spiritual and compassionate personality. She always made friends wherever life took her; she will be missed by many who shared her sense of humor and those who confided in her for advice in their own life’s journeys. Linda had a successful career as a real estate agent for many years. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 1449 Wilcox Park, Grand Rapids, Rev. James Chelich presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
