Lois Jean Seese, age 94 of Alto, passed away on January 7, 2023, in Greenville, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Philip Seese; and her parents, LaVerne and Myrtle Klahn; and her cat, Tammy. She is survived by her son, Larry Seese; sister, Phyllis Conway from Danville, KY; sister-in-law, Ellen Host from Mobile, AL; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gloria Martinez, Melody Ellison, Gerri Holwerda, Linda Grinage. After graduating high school, Lois was a homemaker who liked to make cookies and was called “Cookie” by her husband. She enjoyed knitting, watching soap operas on TV, sending cards, and giving candy and cookies to friends. Lois loved traveling to other states and visiting her son and seeing the sights. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell, MI 49331, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Bowne Center Cemetery in Alto, MI. I’m missing you so much each and every day. I miss our chats. I thank God that you were in my life for 5 years here in North Carolina. I know you are at peace now and know that I will always look out for Larry (Bruh) as I call him.
