TRIMPE Lorraine M. Trimpe age 83 of Wyoming passed away February 19 2009. Surviving are her children Susan (Rick) Olmsted of Las Vegas Thomas (Lori) Trimpe of Ada Jeffrey (Cheryl) Trimpe of Grand Rapids; and their father Wayne Trimpe; grandchildren Rosie (Geoffrey) Oldham Andy (Lindsey) Trimpe Eileen (Joe) Czabaranek Stacey (Chris) Quinn Audrey and Wesley Trimpe; brothers William ( Mary) Stacey Tom Kelly. Lorraine was a life long musician with a passion for playing the accordion and the piano. She shared her love of the accordion over the years by playing at various venues around the Grand Rapids Area. She was also an active member of her community by volunteering with the American Lung Association and through Davenport University with her Sorority Alpha Iota International. Lorraine also enjoyed spending her free time swimming at the YMCA golfing with her friends and entertaining family by having more than enough tapioca pudding and cookies at the house. Her family will always remember her for her great sense of humor matter of a fact personality and her love towards her children and grandchildren. Memorial service will be 1 PM February 28 2009 at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd SE Rev. Ken Nash of Cornerstone Church officiating.Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
