Louann Helen VanKoevering age 77 of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Arlan; children, David (Regina) VanKoevering of Essex, VT, Michael (Susan) VanKoevering of S. Burlington, VT; Kristine (Greg) Lang of Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren, Benjamin, Kari, and Mark VanKoevering, Ja Salaw, Annierae Lang, Melat Lang, Brian Garvey; sister-in-law, Shirley VanKoevering; nephew, Kevin VanKoevering; and niece, Kim VanKoevering. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Bob VanKoevering. Louann was born June 1, 1938 in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Creston High School in 1956. She was a devoted wife and mother, and loved being around all her grandchildren. She enjoyed her dogs, sitting on her porch in Vermont looking at the Green Mountains and her annual trip to Cabo San Lucas with her family. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids. Rev. Robert Lindstrom officiating. Visitation Tuesday 6-8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
