Louise Violet (Kenyon) Price, age 77 of Lowell, passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 30, 1942 in Caledonia, MI. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Beatrice Kenyon; sisters, Nancy Reedy, Rosemarie Kenyon; and brother, Harry Kenyon. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Kenyon; brothers, Bernard (Liz) Kenyon, Lee Kenyon; daughters, Deborah Price, Darla (Bill) Boersma, Dorinda (Randy) Westen, Dianna Price; son, David Price; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, nephews; and many dear friends. She married Charles Price, a US Army veteran, on May 20, 1961. By 1966 she had given birth to five children. Louise was a devoted mother and adoring grandmother, who amazed her family with her love of people, work, and play. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and playing board and card games with her children and grandchildren. Always there for her siblings and children, and eager for the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she modeled a life of love, commitment, and joy. Louise worked at Bissell Homecare, Inc. from 1972 until 2015. She fulfilled her dream of higher education by earning her Associate degree in Business Accounting at Grand Rapids Community College in 2005. Louise was a profoundly kind soul, providing material and financial support to several family members and friends. In 2018-19 she volunteered at Flat River Outreach Ministries. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her! The family wishes to thank Spectrum Health Hospice for their care and support during this difficult time. Services will be held at Bowne Center United Methodist Church, 12051 84th Street SE, Alto MI 49302 on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Visitation will be at 10:00 am with funeral services at 11:00 am, with Rev. Robert Wright officiating. Interment later at Lakeside Cemetery, Caledonia, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Bowne Center United Methodist Church.

    My deepest condolences to you and your family. I worked with Louise at Bissell for so many years and she was one of the nicest, kindest people I’ve ever met. She always had a positive attitude and she had a smile on her face. My prayers are with you at this time.

  3. Louise was in charge of the 3rd shift when I started at Bissell. She took pride in her work, friends and her family. She was a very giving and loving person. The world could use more people with a heart like hers. I know she is going to be deeply missed. Condolences to her friends and family.

  5. Saddened to hear of the passing of Louise. She always had a kind word and a happy “Hello” whenever we would pass each other at Bissell Inc. My sincere condolences to her entire family.

  6. I was saddened to discover that Louise had passed away this past week. As everyone has mentioned she was a very sweet spirit. I met her years ago through Vikki Lynn. Grandma is set free from her earthly body. Now you have so many wonderful memories to talk about. She will be right there with you now. Be blessed with her love for you all.
