Marian K. Schneider, age 86 and long time member of the Lowell community, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil and son, Phil; brother, Tom Kutchey; sister, Rosemary Summers. Marian was considered the second mother to David (Kate), Jenny (Ken) and Marty (Sheree) Alexander. She was a strong Catholic and devoted wife. She worked as an accountant for Lippert Pharmacy and later with Speerstra Insurance Agency; and for many years volunteered at the Flat River Outreach Ministries. She loved playing bridge and spending time with her friends. She is survived by her son, Craig (Sue) Schneider; daughter-in-law, Barb Schneider; sisters, Dolores Alexander, Genevieve Baldwin, Rita (Sid) Ammon; grandchildren, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 402 Amity St., Lowell. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 6:45 p.m., at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell. Memorial contributions may be made to Flat River Outreach Ministries, 11535 E. Fulton, Lowell, MI 49331.
