Marianne Lipcsei, age 68 of Grand Rapids, went to be with The Lord on May 15, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lipcsei; son, Jason Heath and wife Michelle Hoey-Heath; their children, Charlie and Andrew; daughter, Dr. Christina Clise and husband Thomas; their children, Jason and Alice; sister, Alishia (Guy) Terrill, and many nieces and nephews. Marianne was preceded in death by parents, John and Martha Cesare; sisters, Ann Marie Cesare, Marlene Cesare; and brother, Leonard Cesare. She was deeply religious, faithful servant who loved her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed roller-blading and cross-country skiing. Visitation will take place 6-8 pm Friday, May 21, 2021 at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm May 22, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church, 508 Franklin Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417 with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Troy Hauser-Brydon officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids, 1806 Bridge St. NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

  1. What words can I say about the sweetest, most wonderful person you’d ever meet. She was a friend to everyone. She gave her all to those she loved. She always wore a smile, cracked a joke, did whatever she could to make you smile. I will miss her every single day of my life.

Remembering the Joyfilled times with Marianne , together we often attended Card class & Zumba at Gildas Club & times whenever I was feeling my Worst ,Marianne had a way to make the day brighter, with A cheerful Reading of her Bible or bible study book.. She’s touched my Life in Many ways & inspired so many others, Her Faith,Kindness, Love & the Strength that God Gave Her each moment of the day, The Laughter we Shared,the memories,the words of Cheer will always be remembered as She was a Beacon of Faith to All who knew her .
