Marie E. (nee Gould) Stanard-Kohlbeck, age 93 of Plainwell, Michigan was taken gently by the hand to her eternal life by God, Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by husband Claire Stanard; son, Ron Stanard; husband, Bernie Kohlbeck; son-in-law, Art Kohlbeck; brothers and sisters, Hazel, Helen, Edla, Wesley, Ed, Harry, and Edith. Marie is survived by her daughters, Diane Kohlbeck, Pam (Ed) Ellinger, and Sue (Tom) Brown; grandchildren, Mike (Tracy), Jennifer (Nathan), Thomas (Mollie), Robert, Diane; great-grandchildren, Ian, Austin, Charlie, Emily, Rebecca, Sarah, Patrick, Olivia, and Eli. She enjoyed her time with friends at Emerald Lake Apartments in Plainwell. Private funeral services were held by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings Home, 530 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010.

I have wonderful memories of Marie and her lovely family! They were dear neighbors in Ada. We shared happy times at weddings and welcoming grandchildren. Then, there were sad times of loss. I look forward to another reunion in heaven.
