Marilyn C Bovee, age 90 of Lowell, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019. Marilyn was born on October 21, 1928 to Forrest and Fern (Brower) Greene. After graduating from Saranac High School in 1946, she married the love of her life, Vercel Bovee of Lowell. She was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star serving many roles over the years. Marilyn retired from the Lowell Area Schools after 27 Years of service as the Food Service Director. In retirement, Marilyn enjoyed gardening, traveling, and attending all sporting events for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Vercel; parents, Forrest and Fern Greene; brother, Orin Greene; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glendon and Janet Bovee. Marilyn is survived by her children, James Bovee, Cheri (Keith) Feldman; grandchildren, Shane and Taylor Bovee; sister, Cheryl Thomas; nieces and nephews, Mike (Diane) Butcher, Randy (Sylvia) Butcher, Arla (Steve) Harvey, and Lew Bovee. I am so sorry for your loss. May God’s promise bring you comfort. There will be “a new earth… and He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore… I am making all things new.” Revelation 21:1-5
Times like this are hard to take but we all know she is in a better place.
