Marilyn M. Andrews, age 83 of Lowell, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Isabel Swift; brothers, Ronald and Darrell Swift; and sister, Patricia (Timpson). She is survived by her brother, Gary (Delta) Swift of Florida; son, Tom (Barbara) Andrews of Lowell; daughter, Marta (Kevin) Suttorp of Grand Rapids; three grandsons, Matthew (fiancée, Connie Hoppa), Trevor, and Chase Suttorp; and one great-grandson, Zackary. She retired from Amway in 1998 after 35 years. She enjoyed spending her spare time cooking, baking, and working out in her yard. She was also an animal lover and after her little “Max” passed away, she spent many years dog-sitting. She enjoyed watching nearly all sports and even took up golf after retiring. The family would like to thank Covenant Village of The Great Lakes for the care and comfort she was provided. Per Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place; and she requested no service. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution may donate to Humane Society of West Michigan, 3077 Wilson Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534.
