Mark Patrick Hollemans, age 36, of Forest Hills, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 13th, 2021. Preceded in death by his grandparents, John Hollemans, Patrick and Nancy Behen; and his aunt, Jenny Behen. Mark is survived by his parents, Mark and Cathy Hollemans; his siblings, Sarah, Erin (Ross) Bartlett, Chris, Katie; his niece, Wynnie; and his dog, Ollie. Mark attended Forest Hills Northern and Lincoln Schools. He enjoyed skiing, horseback riding, The Grand Rapids Symphony, Calvary Go-Getters group, and outdoor concerts at community venues throughout the city. Mark will always be remembered for his giant bear hugs, beaming smile and contagious laugh. His family finds happiness and comfort that Mark is “in a place called Heaven where he will need no wheelchair”. The family is grateful to the countless nurses, doctors, aides, and teachers that gave him such loving care throughout his life.

I enjoyed seeing Mark at Heather Hills events especially the summer outdoor BBQ’s . I enjoyed bringing a smile to his face at the events when I would talk to him.
