Mary (Duggan) Kennedy age 87 of Lowell passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 31 2012. Mary was born in Detroit Michigan on May 1 1924 and moved to Lowell in 1960. She was a warm compassionate and loving mother and grandmother who unselfishly devoted her entire life to her family. Mary was the happiest when her home was filled with kids family and laughter. She was preceded in death by her parents Jeremiah and Julia (Moynihan) Duggan; daughters Margaret Mary Kennedy and Sheila (Kennedy) Soyka; siblings Dennis Duggan Helen Duggan Jeremiah Duggan Margaret (Duggan) Asam Catherine (Duggan) Kaiser Magdelena (Duggan) Arbanas. She will forever be remembered by surviving family members; daughter Maureen Kissinger; son Kevin (Chris) Kennedy; son-in-law Chris Soyka; grandchildren Tammy (Bob) OConnell Carrie Kennedy Kerri Kissinger Rob (Shannon) Kennedy Aron (Angie) Kennedy Alison (Ken) Wolters Courtney (Scott) MacPherson Sean Kennedy Cody (Sarah) Soyka; brothers-in-law Richard Asam John Arbanas; special friend Dolores Alexander; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; also many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Marys life will be held at St. Mary Church 402 North Amity Lowell Michigan. Interment St. Marys Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a visitation scheduled for 2-4:00 and 7-9:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel 305 N. Hudson Lowell.
