Mary Ellen Noble Dunkelberg age 82 of Grand Rapids passed away in Ft. Myers Florida on March 22 2012. Mickey is survived by her husband of 63 years Donald; children Susan (Danny) Dunkelberg-Booker Paul (Dianne) Dunkelberg Steven (Celeste) Dunkelberg Scott Dunkelberg (Robert King), and Peter Dunkelberg; brother William (Christine) Noble; sisters Polly Decker Katherine (Doug) Stevens Peggy Noble Idema; sisters-in-law Beatrice Voorhees and Velma Behnke; 8 grandchildren Tanya Steven Jr., Donnie Christi Michelle Chase Kalli and Sierra; 6 great-grandchildren many nieces and nephews and her beloved canine Gretchen. Friends and family will be received from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. on March 28 at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Road S.E. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 29 at at The Basilica of St. Adalbert 701 Fourth Street N.W., Grand Rapids Msgr. R. Louis Stasker presiding. Mickey will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by many for her extraordinary kindness and generosity.
