DOWNEY Mary Maude Downey aged 87 of Ada died February 2 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband James T. Downey in 1998. She is survived by her children J. Thomas III (Jan) Downey of Clarkston MI and Richard (Becky) Downey of Philadelphia PA; granddaughter Heather Downey; sister Betty Jo (Robert) Bassett of PA; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Downey was a longtime employee as an editor of Fideler Publishing Company and also a member of the Little Bissell Guild of Blodgett Hospital. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE Rev. Timothy Murtaugh of Cascade Christian Church officiating. Interment Ada Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the M.R. Bissell Guild of Blodgett Hospital.
