  1. Our Aunt Mare was a caring woman who loved and supported, among many others, her late sister Ellen and Ellen’s children (including me). She was the center of so much, sitting at that giant white dining room table, and always with a cup of coffee in her hand. I know it is a small comfort that we got to enjoy her for a long time, but now rest in peace. Love to all the extended Mulvihill/Weiss fam in GR and beyond.

  2. Gwenn, Alan and all the family,
Our hearts are heavy with sadness for you. We are with you in spirit as you begin this journey of remembrance with other friends and family. Keeping you in our prayers and thinking of you at this sad time of loss.

    Sending our love,
    Gib and Maggie

  3. I was lucky to be included in Maryrita’s orbit of love. I always felt she cared deeply for everyone in her family. Her kindness and generosity were also always a part of Maryrita’s being. She was a great woman. She will truly be missed.

  4. Growing up, we would visit Grand Rapids with our mother, Ellen (sister to Maryrita) and were always welcomed at the Weiss home. I enjoyed the crowd, and many a meal was shared. I was fortunate to visit Maryrita a few years ago, to catch-up. She will be missed by all, family and friends! Love, Lucie

  5. So many great memories of “Mrs. Weiss, privately referred to as Mary Rita” from our high school days visiting the Weiss home on Wilshire! Her voice was always steady and caring as our gal group left the house with Ele at the wheel! She was so welcoming and the kitchen table always had an empty chair or two for Ele’s friends. I adored Mary Rita! Peace and love to all the Weiss family.
