MIKULSKI Maureen Kay (Stapleton) Mikulski age 63 of Lowell passed away peacefully at her home after a long battle with cancer August 22 2010. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Larry Mikulski; her children Cara Jane Suggs (Rick Sauber), Michelle Anne (Michael) Kasper and Scott Robert (Jennifer) Mikulski; brothers James (Martha) Stapleton and Pat (Mary) Stapleton; sisters Mary Jane (William) Link and Colleen (Scott) Lubenow; grandchildren Loren and Taylor Suggs Fernando Ortiz Mycah and Liberty Kasper and Ella and Malen Mikulski; and many nieces and nephews. She was a dedicated active member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked at Amway Corporation for over 20 years. In 1964 she graduated from West Catholic High School. Attended GRJC married soon after and moved to Lowell where she raised and loved her family. She was known for her kind heart and generosity. She was brave and beautiful and fought the good fight for 20 years. She loved reading to cook and entertain her cottage on the lake in Wahalla and her little Chihuahua Bambie. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on August 25 at at St. Mary Catholic Church 402 Amity St Lowell with Rev. Eugene Okoli celebrant. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 PM at Roth Gerst Funeral Chapel 305 N. Hudson Lowell. Memorial contributions may be made to Lowell Pink Arrow Pride Project or Right to Life of Michigan.
