Maxwell Edmund Prominski, age 15, of Ada, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home after a five year battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his nana Ruth Speets. He is survived by parents Penni (Mike) Zurgable, Patrick (Katy Leedy) Prominski; brother Ben Dussault; step-sister Lydia Zurgable; grandparents Ron and Marget Prominski; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Max was born on September 20, 2002 to his parents Penni and Patrick. Max was unique in his ability to laugh and always see the positive, even when faced with ongoing treatment. He was a singular soul among his peers, radiating sunshine and happiness to all of his friends. He loved to dance, build Lego, and talk about Star Wars. Max attended Forest Hills Central High School, where he loved his classes and teachers. A Memorial Service celebrating Max’s life will be held Tuesday, December 12, 6:30 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI. The family will greet friends and relatives 5-6:30 pm at the funeral home chapel.
