Merlin “Skeet” Andrew Welch, age 83 of Alto, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. He is survived by his caregiver Dorothy M. Risner; children Marty (Trinia) Welch of Clarkston, MI, Robin Baker of Waterford, MI; close friends, David (Debra) DeYoung and family of Grand Rapids, Steven (Cora) Risner and family of Alto, Terry Risner and family of Lowell, Thomas (Kim) Yonker and family of Alto; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Skeet worked for Fisher Body in Pontiac for 40 years and proudly served with the Army in Korea. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-5:00 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell.
