Michael David Beroset Sr. was born May 10, 1947 in Akron Ohio, and went

to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home in Grand

Rapids Michigan. Michael truly was one of the most “human” beings that

you would ever meet. He loved and was loved by many.

His friends, young and old, meant everything to him, and he had no sense of

age when it came to friendship.

Young at heart but full of wisdom from all of life’s experiences, he was

always eager to share that knowledge with others.

Michael loved his wife, Dawn, his dogs, cooking, barbecuing, bible study,

music and spending time with his close friends at his favorite watering holes

or out on his back deck. Michael was a Salesman through and through, and

had the ultimate silver tongue. During the course of his professional life he

sold more different types of things then can be recounted in this small

paragraph, from cemetery plots, concentrated orange juice, life insurance,

credit card processing, pet insurance, and lastly corporate jets. He was

charismatic, a talented speaker and quick with a handshake and a smile. Fast

on his feet and a sharp dresser, he plied his trade effectively for more than 50

years in Akron, Traverse City and finally in Grand Rapids. He very much

loved what he did, and he did it all! After his passing, Michael leaves behind

his wife, Dawn Walker, his dog Baby, his sons Michael Beroset II and

Jeremy Beroset. He also leaves an enormous number of friends. All of his

friends and well-wishers are invited to stop by at the Score Restaurant

(Northland Drive) on Monday, February 19th between 4 and 6 PM, to raise a

glass in his honor, tell stories about him, both truthful and nonsense, which

are most likely to be true anyway.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Bissell Pet

Foundation or the Kent Count Humane Society.
