Minnie Marilyn Klink, age 95, walked into the loving arms of her dear Savior, Jesus on Monday, May 9, 2022. She was most certainly welcomed with great joy. Minnie was born at home in Eaton Rapids, Michigan on January 31, 1927. She was kid number seven of eight born to David and Lela (Sova) Grimes. Momma spent most of her adult life around the Lowell/Saranac area. For the last seven years she lived in an apartment built onto her daughter Marilyn’s house in Wayland. Momma had several hobbies and interests. She enjoyed books and reading, loved gardening, birds, wood working, wood carving, needle craft, sewing, and painting just to name a few. More than her hobbies, Momma loved her family. She is survived by her children, Becky & Jim Kendall, Deb Heaton, Marilyn Hyzer, Jim & Ruth Allan, Rachel Klink, Linda Vandervlugt, Jeanne & Merle Perrine, Vicki Allan Tasman, Lois & Jim Borreson, Dave & June Klink; daughter-in-law, Joy Klink; many grandchildren (over 100 offspring in total!); many nieces & nephews; and one cousin, Marie Pratt. All of her brothers and sisters have gone on before her; and two of her children, Steve Klink and Carol Patterson; and son-in-law, Ken Heaton. Momma had many friends and neighbors from Lowell, Saranac, and Wayland areas. Gilda’s Club of Lowell, BSF, book clubs, Vineyard North Church where she attended for years, and Gaines UB Church, are just a few places where many people loved and knew her over her lifetime. Momma loved and served God with her whole heart. She served people with a great love, gentleness, wisdom, and hugs! Lots of hugs! She will be greatly missed by many. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, May 14, at Bible Believers Church, 404 N. Hudson SE, Lowell, MI 49331, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Alton Cemetery. Instead of flowers, please make a donation to Pregnancy Resource Center in Grand Rapids, 415 Cherry St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
