Norma Ann McClellon, age 84, of Pine Knoll Shores passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019, in Grand Rapids, MI following a brief illness while visiting family. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Lenwood McClellon. She is survived by her four children, James (Becky) McClellon of Seneca, SC, Robert (Karen) McClellon of New Bern, NC, Elizabeth (Joseph) Junewick of Grand Rapids, MI, and Patrick McClellon of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren, Stacy (Zach) Ferrall, Elizabeth McClellon, Ross McClellon, Ellen (fiance Jacob Kuyvenhoven) Junewick and Charlotte Junewick; and nephew, Frank (Bunny) Laliberte, Jr. Norma was a real estate agent in LaGrange, IL prior to retirement to the Crystal Coast of NC in 1996. She enjoyed tennis and was an avid bridge player and reader. She thoroughly enjoyed the Pine Knoll Shores community and considered it her home. A special thank you to the caregivers at Companion and Home Care, LLC for their loving care and for enabling mom to stay in the home that she loved. A memorial Service for Norma will be held at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church, 201 E Fort Macon Rd, Atlantic Beach, NC on Saturday February 2, at 12:00 PM. Reverend Scott Barry officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Norma’s honor to Friends of Bogue Banks Library, 320 Salter Path Road, Suite W, Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512.

Just heard the news. So sorry to hear of Norma’s passing. As our across the street neighbor, Norma was a Circle Cutie and her laughter and wit will be missed, but will be remembered forever in our community. Amry and Robert Cox
