HUSTON – Phyllis J. Huston age 79 of Grand Rapids passed away March 28 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Wilks. She is survived by her husband of 18 years W. Jay Huston; children Catherine J. (Juan) Cruz Dianne (William) Lake; grandchildren Juan Jr. (Gladys) Cruz Shawn (Dean) Bosma Jessica Lake; great-grandchildren Anthony & Isaac Cruz Paige Bosma Jayden Rae Lake; Jays children Robert J. Huston John A. (Cheri) Huston Daniel J. Huston Christopher A. (Beverly) Huston Margaret (Michael) Soules David Huston William (Debra) Huston Paul (Darla) Huston Catherine A. Huston James (Julie) Huston and Donna M. Huston. Phyllis was a member of the Blodgett Hospital Junior Guild former president of the Grand Rapids Business Womens Club and life member of the Isaac WaNewlton League. Funeral services will be at St. Johns United Church of Christ 1934 Bridge St. NW Rev. William Lyons officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns United Church of Christ Hospice of Michigan or the Isaac Walton League of America (Dwight Lydell Chapter Building Fund).
