  1. Nola, Bernie and brothers, we are so sorry for your loss. Dick and Nola were my favorite parents of any of my friends when I went over to visit Bernie in school! And then some 10+ years later, Dick found our house on Morrison Lake (which I didn’t know existed at the time). Two additions later, and we’ve been here for 35+ years, best decision we ever made.
I’d often run into you at Showboat concerts and even Meijer, always together, active, and having fun. You raised 4 great boys, one my best man, and are a treasure to the Lowell community. We will miss Dick, but I will celebrate all that Dick, Nola and his family have meant to Carol and I.
    God Bless! Dan & Carol

  9. I was sadden to hear of Dicks passing. He was a great guy, obviously much liked and respected by all who knew him. It was at family gatherings and an occasional visit by Dick and Nola to Suttons Bay that I enjoyed his company and conversation. His was a life well lived. May he rest in peace.
