HUNGERFORD Richard Hungerford Sr. (Rick), 60 went to eternal rest with the Lord. His courageous fight with Leukemia ended on December 11 2010. Rick’s final days were spent surrounded by family and friends; people whose lives he touched in so many ways. Rick was born in Grand Rapids Michigan on November 20 1950. He attended Grand Rapids Catholic Central and continued his education graduating from the University of Notre Dame. Rick worked many years as a partner in the CPA firm Hungerford Aldrin Nichols and Carter. For the past 10 years he served as President and CEO of ESCO Group. Rick was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting waterfowl and fishing. He also enjoyed a frequent round of golf as well as boating in the summers. Rick adored all of his friends but the most important thing to him was his family and spending time with them. Rick is survived by his loving wife Judy of 35 years; his children Rick Jr. and Ashley Lieber Kelly and Jason Wender Angie and Mike Morgan and Brett and Caitlyn O’Haire. He is the proud Papa of granddaughters Liv and Ava. He is also survived by his siblings Ken and wife Noreen Hungerford Karen and husband Bill Willis Gary Hungerford Sue Clemens and sister-in-law Beverly Hungerford. Also survived by stepfather John Krehbiel. He is preceded in death by his mother Virginia Hungerford (Kaminski), his father Kenneth Hungerford Sr., brother Stephen Hungerford and stepmother Sally Krehbiel (Hungerford). Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Robert of Newminster Church 6477 Ada Dr. SE Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding. Interment Cascade Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Gods Kitchen 303 S.
