Rick Douglas Rinvelt, age 57, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 4, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Betty Rinvelt; his sister, Rennie (Joe) VanRosmalen; his brothers, Rob (Beth) Rinvelt, Randal (Lori) Rinvelt, Russ (Deb) Rinvelt, Ryan (Teresa) Rinvelt; his special friend, Karen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Rinvelt. Rick was a 1980 graduate of Northview High School and attended Davenport University. Visitation will be Monday, May 7, 10-11:00 AM. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 7, 11:00 AM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids. Rev. Tim Dieffenvach officiating. The family would appreciate any donations in Rick’s memory be made to Alcoholics Anonymous at 1401 Plainfield Avenue, NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.

Rennie and Russ, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. He was so young. This must be a very tough time. Please know you will all be in my thoughts and prayers as you face the coming days. God bless you all.
