Robert R. Heidtke, age 90, of Byron Center went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 11. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Loraine; children, Debra (Bob) Bremer, Kathleen Heidtke and Bob Heidtke; grandchildren Cody (Jillian) Bremer, Trevor Bremer, Todd (Lindsey) Dalga, Shawnna (Josh) Fizer, Maxwell Heidtke, Makiah Heidtke and Lexington Heidtke; great-grandchildren Rosemarie, Markus, Jayden, Gabriel, Jacob and Mariah. Robert served in the Korean conflict and worked at Oven Fresh for 35 years. Visitation will be Thursday, May 16 from 5-8 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17 at 11 AM at Woodward Baptist Church, 2160 76th Street SW, Byron Center, Pastor Lance Laker officiating, visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment Chapel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Roberts name to Woodward Baptist Church.
