Robert L. Andrews, age 87 of Kentwood, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Bob was born September 30, 1930 in Lowell, MI, to Leonard and Ruby (Priest-Lewis) Andrews. He is survived by his children Tom (Barbara) Andrews of Lowell, and Marta (Kevin) Suttorp of Grand Rapids; grandsons Matthew (Connie), Trevor and Chase Suttorp; and three great-grandchildren. Bob served his country in Korea in 1951 and 1952. He worked for many years at Kelvinator. After retirement, he enjoyed reading, traveling around the country, golfing, and fishing. For the last couple of years, he enjoyed spending time with his second family at his second home, The Florentine Sports Lounge in Kentwood, where he had become a regular. The family would like to thank all those who looked after him. Per Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Lowell.
