DRINAN – Robert Lee Drinan age 91 of Grand Rapids passed away January 11 2008. He is survived by his wife Betty; children Mary (Dick) Wachter Peggy (David) Hahn Jean (John) Osborn Robert Drinan Jr., Dr. Kathleen (Bill) Abrams David (Lynn) Drinan Dan (Nicolle) Drinan Patty (Mark) Neterer Dennis (Sandy) Drinan; 21 grandchildren Drinan (Joe) Gorney Erin (Chad) Holzgen Ryan (Heather) Hahn Brady Hahn Anna Kathleen and Kevin Eder Leigh and Charlie Hornbach Tommy Abrams Amy and Brian Drinan Aaron Gary and Patrick Drinan Kyle Sarah Claire and Molly Neterer Emily and Shannon Drinan; seven great grandchildren. Mr. Drinan was a veteran of WWII. He was an insurance agent for New York Life for 60 years. He also was charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and a member of the Serra Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. January 15 2008 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 1935 Plymouth Ave. SE with Rev. Troy Nevins presiding. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Vigil service 6 p.m. at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
