Robert Raymond Wayman known as Rob aged 44 child of God joined his grandparents in heaven on May 19 2012. Harry and Louise Wayman and Raymond and Sally Williams are celebrating their beloved grandson joining them having exchanged his poor damaged human body for a perfect heavenly existence. He leaves behind his loving devoted parents Harry and Connie Wayman of Grand Rapids and a brother Harry (Chip) and a sister-in-law Christy and their children Corrinne and Hunter of Byron Center. Rob was born in Titusville Florida in 1968. When he was quite young his family moved to Michigan a state ahead of most for special needs programs which it was soon apparent he needed. He enjoyed the benefits from the special needs programs mostly at Lincoln School until he was age 25. Rob was a music lover. When he was young he sang and danced snapping his fingers on both hands. He spent several happy years living with his peers in a group home on the Pine Rest campus until he began to have health problems which required more specialized care. His family is so grateful for the wonderful consideration Rob has received from his caregivers at Spectrum Kent Community and the many hospitals he has been in over the years. Visitation will be held at OBrien-Eggebeen Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Road from 6 – 8 PM May 22. A memorial service will be held at Christ Community Church 2400 Forest Hill Avenue SE Rev. Lynne Kammeraad officiating on May 23 at 1:00 preceded by an hour visitation. Interment will be in the Christ Community Memorial Garden.
